Wilmington Vegan August Potluck – What’s In Season
We live in a climate that allows us to enjoy fresh greens, veggies, and fruits for a large portion of the year. This month (August) we should have green beans, butter beans, cabbage, cantaloupes, grapes, leafy greens, okra, peaches, peas, squash, tomatoes, watermelon, and perhaps corn and peppers still, and definitely peanuts and sweet potatoes (in season year-round). Find at least one “in season” ingredient for your dish this potluck and highlight it on your ingredients list or recipe card. Let’s hit the farmers market or co-op and see what we can make!
