It’s that time of year again! Time for Girl Scout cookies! Did you know that four varieties of Girl Scout cookies are vegan? Peanut Butter Patties, Thin Mints, Thanks-a-lots, and Lemonades made by ABC Bakery are all vegan. Now, keep in mind that there are two bakeries and the other one does not have any vegan varieties. Luckily our local council – North Carolina Coastal Pines – uses the ABC Bakery!
Of course, also keep in mind that even though the cookies may not contain animal products, they aren’t healthy and you may find some objectionable ingredients in there such as hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, and GMOs, so it’s up to you if you want to give in to the temptation or not!
